Position: Full-Time Utility Worker

Location: Saline MI

Schedule: Various shifts available

Utility Worker Job Description:

The Utility Porter reports to the Chef Manager. This Utility Porter's responsibilities will include washing dishes, pots and pans and other equipment as assigned and maintaining a clean work environment within a senior living community. Representing not only the client but NexDine as well, this Utility needs to exhibit great customer service in all aspects of this job.

Utility Worker Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using Dishwasher / Utility Workers or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler
• Assist with food prep
• Other duties of the Utility Worker are assigned by the Chef Manager

Utility Worker Requirements:

• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be dependable
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must have received Vaccination against Covid

Pay Frequency:

• Weekly Paid - Direct Deposit
