A Foreman is a professional who is responsible for monitoring and supervising the construction process to ensure everything is being done within deadlines and all the set standards for construction are being met. These candidates monitor the progress of construction and report it to the construction head and client. Hence, these candidates are responsible for the construction crew and the work done by them

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience leading crews while completing the following tasks:

  • Deep excavation at Utility Construction Site
  • Water, storm, and sanitary sewer pipe
  • Dewatering, bypass pumping, wet utilities, heavy equipment, line alignment, leak testing, and knowledge of local specifications, materials, and methods
  • Progressive utility construction
  • Pipe Laying
  • Pipe laser
  • Proven experience supervising self-performed Subsurface Construction, ability to multi-task and resolve constructability and equipment issues.

Physical Demands

  • Working near moving machinery/tools which requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination, must be able to move quickly and have excellent stamina
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects (over 50 lbs.), use legs, hips, shoulders, abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and climb a ladder
