As Digital Platforms Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team which manages a portfolio of enterprise and USBU owned digital marketing platforms, operations, and governance. In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop the digital team directly and other cross functional resources, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement and staying abreast of MarTech trends and innovations to keep the company at the forefront of digital initiatives in its industry. Join Takeda as a USBU DD&T Digital Platforms Lead where you willplay a crucial role in developing and driving marketing technology capabilities and services to enhance the US business's online presence across digital channels to build brand and reputation, grow market share, and improve customer / HCP experience .As part of the USBU DD&T Team, you will report to Head, USBU DD&T and work with Key Stakeholders.

How you will contribute:
  • Proactively understand the US franchises' marketing strategies and technology needs to determine short-term and long-term enabling MarTech priorities.

  • Communicate USBU MarTech strategies, plans, and results to senior management and other stakeholders, gaining buy-in and support for digital initiatives.

  • Cultivates internal and external strategic partnerships to bring in thought leadership while supporting the business, developing the service/technology roadmap, and generating innovative ideas.

  • Provides DD&T support to Commercial Operations teams including Sales and Marketing Operations.

  • Own the service catalog for USBU Digital Services and ensure SLA are aligned to customer needs and team capabilities.

  • Lead an effective and unified team that delivers an overarching marketing technology platforms, operating model, and capability strategy and effectively manages the day-to-day operations for delivery of brand projects in partnership with BU brand teams, COBS and GDDT.

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the performance of digital marketing activities and demonstrate the impact of digital marketing on business growth leveraging insights from data analysis .

  • Ensure that digital solutions delivered are aligned with USBU DD&T roadmap and strategies, as well as the enterprise architecture framework.

  • Support DD&T business partners to develop change management plan and tactics to drive adoption of digital operating model across BU brand teams, digital agencies, GDDT partners, COBS, and campaign managed serive team.

  • Oversee and manage USBU DDT owned digital platform budget.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; Graduate degree in relevant field is desired.

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, 3+ yrs strong focus on digital marketing / MarTech domain.

  • Proven experience successfully leading teams, effectively managing performance and providing opportunities for continuous learning and development.

  • Proven competences in, stakeholder alignment, strategic thinking, management of ongoing platform operations, large program delivery, and matrix organizations.

  • Ability to understand digital technologies and their potential application and translate those into business opportunities, cases, needs, and implementation roadmaps.

  • Prior experience working with and managing third-party service providers preferred.

  • Proven track record of effective project leadership and producing positive results, including portfolio review, finance and budgeting.

  • Understands the pharmaceutical market including role of providers, patients, payers, distributors and policy makers.

  • Understands data and analytic tools and processes from operational reporting to advanced analytics and AI.

  • Experience with US Pharmaceutical digital and field force HCP and Consumer engagement strategies, technologies, and data.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$205,100.00 - $322,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.


U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
