Threat Tec has an immediate opening for a TRADOC G2 US Army Pacific (USARPAC) Scenario Planner at Fort Shafter, Hawaii for providing reach-back planning and execution support to the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC), Fort Shafter, Hawaii. U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command's Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (TRADOC G-2) provides Operational Environment Enterprise (OEE) support to sustained readiness. TRADOC G-2 makes the OE accessible to units through the development of operational and intelligence training products, materials, and information necessary to describe and deliver a realistic, relevant, complex, and tailorable OE/OPFOR that is discoverable, retrievable, and understandable. The TRADOC G2 team helps stimulate Live, Virtual, and Constructive training environments by providing capabilities in exercise and scenario planning; replicating the complexities of Operational Variables (Political, Military, Economic, Social, Information, Infrastructure, Physical Environment, and Time (PMESII-PT); advise, scout and assist on Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) integration and requirements; conducting intelligence research, analysis, and production. Requirements Provide reach-back (Fort Eustis) contractor personnel for the JPMRC to support scenario planning, product development, and exercise execution specific to multinational Indo-Pacific theater events
Planners will provide continuous scenario development and coordination through Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events to properly design, plan, prepare, coordinate, and support JPMRC in the execution of exercises and training events
Coordinate with operational and functional commands, and assist in support of EXCON and HICOM tasks as required
Product development includes, but is not limited to, authoring Road to War, Orders of Battle, annexes, scrips, Master Sequence of Events List (MSEL), production and integration of intelligence reporting products, and support to the production and review of AAR products.
Prepare briefings and other required materials to support exercise control, OPFOR, observer trainers, and analyst support cells as required. Assist in the coordination and integration of LVCG training enablers, such as mission command (MC) systems and training aids, devices, simulations, and simulators (TADSS).
Develop schedules, coordinate venues, and provide updates throughout planning of the end-to-end Concept of Operations (CONOP). As applicable, planners shall use current products, databases, and resources available in coordination with TRADOC G2, such as the OE integration Network (ODIN) and the Info Ops Network (ION), to produce and deliver real-time dynamic scripting into various mission command systems (MCS).
Leverage expertise in Army operations and training, including military doctrine, current tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and force structure to incorporate training units into the exercise. Qualifications 5+ years of experience with training with the Army or Joint organizations
MEL 4 qualified individual in the respective functional area is desired. Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of Army and Joint training programs
Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills
Experience with training Army or Joint units in small unit live environments, including lanes, situational training exercises (STX), or command and staff constructive environments, including command post exercises (CPX)
Experience with supporting or facilitating the Joint Exercise Life Cycle
Knowledge of mission command systems
Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military operations
Knowledge of military training, doctrine, planning, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Knowledge of force structure to design exercises that meet doctrinal requirements
Experience with using Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (desired)
Experience as a Collective Trainer or Exercise Designer (desired)
Experience as a staff member at a Combat Training Center (CTC) (desired)
Bachelor's degree
