Systems Administrator (Mid-Level) UNIX / Windows

• Install and configure RHEL/Windows servers, both for AFnet and Kickstart standalone, enforcing DoD SCAP/STIG compliance for NIPR/SIPR/JWICS
• System administrator for Solaris 11.5, Windows 10, and Windows Server 16
• Implement/test R&D technologies for Solaris-based Air Force Mission Support Systems (AFMSS) supporting the Mission Planning Center (MPC)
• Maintain, troubleshoot UNIX and Windows user issues.
• Create/maintain user accounts and security groups in Active Directory for software test servers. Required Qualifications:
• Significant experience as a UNIX/Windows System Administrator.
• This is an active contract with an immediate need.
• Access to DoD Information Systems will be required to perform contract duties.
• The certification must be maintained / obtained, one of the following: Security+ CE (or higher), SSCP, or GSEC. Must be maintained throughout the contract Period of Performance for this TO.
• Fundamental knowledge of computing infrastructures.
• Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory.
• Fundamental knowledge of LINUX operating system.
• Active TS/SCI
• Must maintain clearance eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship. Desired qualifications:
• Experience with virtual desktop interfaces (VDIs), VMWare, and thin clients.
• B.S in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or similar.
• CISSP certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate- Server (2008 or higher). Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Server Administrator (MCITP SA) (2008 or higher).
• Scripting/Programming/Coding experience.
• Basic understanding of fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts. Benefits:

Compensation:
• Total Compensation Range: $90,000 - $152,000
