Job Summary and Qualifications
Receives, initiates, and implements orders for ultrasound sonography exams/procedures using a high degree of quality and timeliness. Performs superior, quality ultrasound scans for all ages under the guidance of a Radiologist. Participates in departmental performance improvement activities, staff meetings, current on al licensures and assigned courses in Healthstream. Other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
- Licensed by ARDMS
- Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Ultrasonographer, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate

Our main campus is a Level III Trauma Center. We provide emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Stonebridge. We have cardiovascular and neurological services.
