PRN SPH Rad Ultrasound 1200 1st Ave E Technical/Professional (Clinical) Evening/Night Shift Responsibilities: Responsible for the operation of diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision, according to the medical direction of the radiologist. Must provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting films. The sonographer will adopt the missions of the Hospital and Radiology Department. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Requirements: Graduate from an approved school of Medical Sonography, either college affiliated or hospital trained. American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or registry eligible. Registered sonographer with ARDMS Schedule: PRN for 9 hour variable day shifts - must be flexible Scheduled on-call and holiday/weekends rotation The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department
