If so, consider joining our team as an Ultrasound Sonographer (FT) at at our Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. This is a day shift position with overnight on call responsibilities. Key responsibilities: Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requires a two year allied health degree, successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound. Reports to the Director of Imaging Qualifications: Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Must have RVT credential and be experienced in breast, OB/GYN, and general US imaging Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential is required OB/GYN experience must include biophysical profiles Breast Imaging must include experience in biopsies Experience in Echocardiography is preferred, but not required About Northwest Health Northwest Arkansas is one of the fastest growing and most dynamic regions in America-a perfect blend of urban sophistication and small town charm.
