Ultrasound Echo Tech

$2,500 Hiring Bonus. $5,000 Relocation Bonus (if applicable). 48 hours every 2 weeks 8AM-4:30PM. The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures on patients. Operates ultrasound equipment, records test results and updates patient records for referring physician. Technologist must work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other customers to maintain a cooperative relationship. The Technologist must follow established protocols, and procedures. EDUCATION: Completion of an accredited Sonography Program ARDMS registered or registry eligible ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of imaging equipment, theory, principles, techniques, and procedures Knowledge of injuries, illnesses, and defects Knowledge of computer hardware and software used for digital imaging Ability to demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in working with newborn through geriatric patients. Ability to read and interpret patient orders and documents and to follow procedures and directions Hiring Incentives: To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Restrictions apply to relocation bonus. To qualify for the relocation bonus, the candidate must live at least 50 miles away from hired location and relocate within 30 miles of primary work location.
