Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and perform a normal range of operations on a wide variety of parts Setups are exacting but not difficult. Fairly close tolerances. Select speeds, feeds, and tools. Perform operations such as drill, bore, face, turn, tap, thread, chamfer, groove, seat, etc. Check work periodically, adjust as needed, and grind to replace dull tools. Setup and various job performances within the department as well. Move material, parts, or containers. Keep and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
