Job Title: Turnaround Cost Clerk
Location: Mont Belvieu, TX (phone number removed)
Pay: Up to $43 (+Benefits)
Hours: M-f 8-5
Assignment Length: 6 months
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Turnaround Cost Clerk provides time and materials cost tracking, purchase requisition, invoicing, and reporting support for the Houston Region Turnaround (TAR) Maintenance group.
Specifically, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Set up contractors in ATOM software for turnarounds daily cost tracking
Track daily labor, materials, and equipment cost in ATOM
Generate purchase requisition and manage purchase orders from open to close
Reconcile and approve vendor invoices
Liaise between maintenance team, supply chain management, and contracts group, as necessary
Involved with the implementation of new cost related software specific to TAR cost control processes
Train others on daily responsibilities
Support the TAR planning and execution teams' project specific duties such as budgeting and quote analysis assistance
Other responsibilities as needed
High school diploma or GED is required
A minimum of 5 years' administrative or data tracking experience in oil and gas or petrochemical projects or turnarounds
Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite financial module is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Able to manage assignments individually or in a collaborative team setting
Ability to develop and foster effective working relationships with internal work groups and outside contractors
Ability to work in a fast paced and sometime stressful environment where processes are always evolving and improving
