GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting Murphy USA's end-user computing infrastructure. This infrastructure includes end-user technology hardware and software, enterprise telephony systems, Microsoft Windows Active Directory, corporate email, and other modern collaboration systems. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the Windows operating system, supporting management tools, and Microsoft 365 apps, as well as an understanding of basic networking concepts. Troubleshooting will sometimes be unscripted and will require solid critical thinking skills. This role will frequently provide opportunities for participation in technical projects and other continuous improvement activities where the Systems Administrator collaboratively engages, often across IT functional areas, in creative design and problem solving to meet evolving business needs. These activities necessitate an affinity for group-based work where the team acts together to achieve common goals. The Systems Administrator role also includes a wide range of technical support activities. As a Systems Administrator, you will identify problems in the environment, then collaborate with other members of the team to correct them. You will also routinely communicate with internal customers through in-person contacts and email, and quality written and verbal communication skills will be a day-to-day necessity of the job. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of new end-user facing technologies. 2. Collaborate with other IT personnel and business customers to provide fit-for-purpose solutions. 3. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and culture across the end-user computing space. 4. Provide high-quality, skillful, and personalized customer support experiences for internal business customers. 5. Provision, manage and support end-user workstations and related software. 6. Provision, manage, and support iOS and Android mobile devices. 7. Implement and support advanced collaboration systems in corporate conference rooms and event spaces. 8. Support the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including email, cloud apps, and desktop software. 9. Participate in enterprise Vulnerability Management activities. 10. Develop, test, and implement configuration policies affecting corporate endpoints and mobile devices. 11. Administrate corporate digital signage solutions. 12. Support corporate telephony systems. 13. Support printing technologies across multiple office locations. 14. Support technology delivery for high-priority corporate event livestreams and virtual meetings. 15. Document all changes in accordance with corporate policies. 17. Travel occasionally as required to conduct essential business. 16. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of the Information Technology field or other closely related disciplines. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
