Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trusts and Estates Paralegal, to join our dynamic legal team. As a Trusts and Estates Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our clients in all aspects of estate planning, probate, gift tax, wills, trusts, asset, and trust administration. This is a full-time position that offers excellent benefits and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Prepare and file probate documents, including petitions, notices, and inventories
  • Communicate with clients and other professionals involved in estate planning and administration
  • Assist with the administration of trusts, including asset management and distribution
  • Prepare gift tax returns and assist with tax planning strategies
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various trusts and estates topics
  • Organize and maintain client files and databases
  • Attend client meetings and take detailed notes
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a trusts and estates paralegal
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning, probate, gift tax, wills, trusts, asset, and trust administration
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
