Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Trusts & Estates Litigation Attorney, you will be expected to:

1. Manage a diverse portfolio of trusts and estates litigation cases, from inception through to conclusion.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents related to trusts and estates matters, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate applications.
3. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their interests with professionalism and integrity.
5. Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of trusts and estates law, helping them to understand their rights, responsibilities, and options.
6. Collaborate closely with colleagues, sharing knowledge and insights and contributing to the firm's overall success.
7. Stay abreast of developments in trusts and estates law, ensuring that the firm's practices are up-to-date and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Trusts & Estates Litigation Attorney position will have:

1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. At least 5 years of experience in trusts and estates litigation.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
6. The ability to manage a large caseload effectively, working independently and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
7. A client-focused approach, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate complex legal concepts in clear, understandable language.
8. The ability to work effectively in a team, contributing to a positive, supportive work environment.
9. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
