Job Details

As a Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Drafting various types of documents related to trusts and estates, such as wills, trusts, power of attorney, and estate tax returns.
2. Advising clients on estate planning strategies and helping them understand the legal and financial implications of their decisions.
3. Representing clients in probate court and handling any litigation related to trusts and estates.
4. Working closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.
5. Staying up to date on changes in trust and estate law and informing clients of any changes that may affect their estate plans.
6. Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
7. Participating in business development activities to expand the firm's trusts and estates practice.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. At least 5 years of experience as a trusts and estates attorney, with a strong focus on document drafting.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
7. A high degree of professionalism and a strong commitment to client service.
8. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. A proven track record of success in trusts and estates law, including a strong record of successful litigation.
