Job Description Description

The Citizens Bank Trust Associate (TA) role is accountable for providing exceptional service to our ultra high new worth trust and estate clients and is part of our client facing trust and estate team. The Trust Associate assists the team in managing the day-to-day activities of our fiduciary clients including new client onboarding, client service and client retention as directed by Senior Trust Officers (STOs) and/or Trust Officers (TOs). The TA will have knowledge of the wealth management industry and have experience in working with clients on matters related to trust services and planning as well as an understanding of investment and banking operations needs. The TA also works with STOs/TOs to administer trust and estate accounts consistent with the terms of the account s governing document and Bank policies and procedures. Strong client service, communication and relationship management skills as well as attention to accuracy and compliance are key components for this position.
  • Responsible for working with STOs/TAs and the broader fiduciary team to ensure proper trust and/or estate administration in accordance with account documentation, applicable law and Bank policies and procedures.
  • Perform trust and estate account maintenance, enter transactions, process remittances and distributions and support STOs / TOs requests for account service for beneficiaries and client account advisors.
  • Responsible for on-boarding new client relationships, new account applications, and AML requirements.
  • Process client requests related to all aspects of the trust and/or estate administration and promoting a client-focused experience for trust grantors, beneficiaries and their advisors. Works along with STOs/TOs and specialized team members to resolve daily client needs.
  • Prepare for STO/TO approval documentation and related information for submission to Bank governance committees and management reviews.
  • Support expansion of client relationships through delivery with Bank colleagues of the complete set of the Bank s services and capabilities.
  • Support various Bank projects and initiatives for the enhancement of the client service experience.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years supporting wealth management administration
  • Trust service or paralegal experience
Hours & Work Schedule
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F
