Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and revise a variety of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents.
2. Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to estate planning, trust administration, and estate administration.
3. Assist clients in business planning and business transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
4. Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex legal issues related to trust and estate law.
5. Collaborate with accountants and tax advisors to develop tax-efficient estate plans.
6. Represent clients in probate court proceedings, if necessary.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax law and regulations that may affect estate planning and trust administration.
8. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service and legal advice.
9. Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a trust and estate attorney.
4. Proven experience in estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, business planning, business transactions, and tax law.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Exceptional client service skills with the ability to interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
