Job Description

TCI-Mt. Vernon is looking for a Truck Sales Executive to join our team. The Truck Sales Executive is responsible for selling new and pre-owned trucks to a variety of customers, from large business operations and municipalities to individual owner operators, within an assigned territory. The Truck Sales Executive cultivates new prospects and grows existing customer accounts with their extensive product knowledge and customer service skills to achieve individual and collective goals. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Develop leads and engage customers to recommend, select, and distinguish features of new or pre-owned vehicles based upon customer needs and requirements.

Prepare equipment specification and pricing proposals for both current and prospective customer presentations.

Demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles, system features, and conduct test drives to showcase units and illustrate distinguishing features or differences.

Understand F&I options available that meet customers' unique needs.

Oversee the truck delivery process from time of order through final delivery acceptance by customer.

Deliver vehicle(s) to customers and review vehicle's operating features, paperwork, and warranty for a satisfactory customer experience.

Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Maintain a prospect development system that includes prospect locators and sales associates.

Collaborate with Parts and Service departments to ensure a satisfactory customer service experience with the quality and availability of parts offerings, service appointments, and repairs.

Continually update knowledge of new products and technological changes in products and within the industry to proactively determine customer benefits of products, updates, features, and technologies.

Maintain familiarity with competitors' product offerings, features, prices, and trading practices.

Establish personal sales goals and projections consistent with company standards of productivity and develop a strategy to achieve benchmarks.

Conduct productivity and time utilization self-audits on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
