Emery Sapp and Sons is seeking a Mechanic to join our teamResponsibilities:
- Assembles, sets up, adjusts, maintains and repairs all types of construction equipment
- Inspects and diagnoses machinery to determine need for and cost of repairs
- Tests, installs new or repaired unit back into equipment
- Performs minor tune ups to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the equipment
- Understand system controls, operation, and configurations
- Perform equipment diagnostics for electrical and mechanical repairs on various construction equipment.
- Welding and fabrication for equipment repairs using various welding equipment such as MIG and ARC
- Complies with OSHA, company, and all client-required safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Class A CDL (Or the ability to obtain CDL)
- At least 1+ year of industry experience.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in all types of terrain
- Able to meet all physical requirements
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
