Emery Sapp and Sons is seeking a Mechanic to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Assembles, sets up, adjusts, maintains and repairs all types of construction equipment
  • Inspects and diagnoses machinery to determine need for and cost of repairs
  • Tests, installs new or repaired unit back into equipment
  • Performs minor tune ups to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the equipment
  • Understand system controls, operation, and configurations
  • Perform equipment diagnostics for electrical and mechanical repairs on various construction equipment.
  • Welding and fabrication for equipment repairs using various welding equipment such as MIG and ARC
  • Complies with OSHA, company, and all client-required safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Class A CDL (Or the ability to obtain CDL)
  • At least 1+ year of industry experience.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in all types of terrain
  • Able to meet all physical requirements
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
