Essential Functions:
- Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at EOD
- Operate 24' straight truck delivering to residential/job sites.
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
- Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with customers and the public
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management
- Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
- Strap down and safely secure load
- Check and confirm accuracy of product shipped
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:Education and Experience: (customize as applicable the years of experience)
- 3 years:3+ years' commercial driving experience required.
- 5 years:No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years.
- High School
Work Environment and Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
