Overview and Essential Functions Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We're looking for a Tree Crew Foreman, based out of Charlotte, NC, to join our team and help connect America. What you'll do: Collect debris and from trimming and removal operations into piles using rakes, shovels, and/or forks Cut away dead or excess branches from trees, or clear branches around power and communication lines, using climbing equipment, or buckets of extended truck booms, while operating chainsaws, hand saws, or pruning equipment Load debris onto trucks in preparation for hauling away. Operate shredding and chipping equipment and feed limbs and brush into these machines. Remove broken limbs from utility wires using hooked extension poles. Trim, top, and reshape trees to achieve attractive shapes or to remove low-hanging branches Operate boom trucks, brush chippers/grinders, power saws, trucks, and other equipment typical to the tree maintenance industry. Will monitor all activity on job site to ensure procedures are followed for others engaged in tree trimming work for maximum efficiency and safety, as well as providing training as needed.
