Treatment Specialist

Coordinates and provides a variety of activity programming for residents including art, gym, spiritual enrichments, volunteer services, community re-integration outings, special events and cooperative educational activities. Responsible for the assessment, case management, individual, group and family sessions for residents and their families. State licensure or licensure eligibility is required. At least five (5) years relevant work experience is required; six (6) plus years preferred, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience in Court or Juvenile Justice Systems is highly desirable. Special Requirements Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age; have a valid driver's license; and submit to a pre-employment screening (including physical exam, psychological exam, TB screen, drug screen,) criminal record check and in-depth reference check. Must be able to multitask and prioritize assignments while meeting established deadlines. Must interact and develop relationships with other community agencies. In this position there is a high probability of experiencing situations that involve an elevated stress level while dealing with violent or uncooperative youth.
