Job Title: Treatment Nurse (LVN) - Wound Care Specialist Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Treatment Nurse specializing in wound care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced wound care treatments, assessments, and interventions to promote healing and improve outcomes for our residents and patients. Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough wound assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform advanced wound care treatments, including wound debridement, dressing changes, and wound vac therapy, according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and self-care practices.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination and continuity of care. Qualifications:
• Current, unrestricted LVN license in the state of CA.
• Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound Care Certification) highly desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in wound assessment techniques, wound care treatments, and wound vac therapy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
