05 About the Role: Treasury Intern

The Team:
The Treasury Intern role is intended to seek operational efficiencies and provide overall support to the global Treasury team. The successful candidate for this position demonstrates commitment to work and a general willingness to learn to acquire more skillsets in the Treasury function, as well as an ability to execute with discipline in a detail-oriented manner while still being able to see the big picture of Global Treasury Operations' role within the larger Corporate Finance function.

Responsibilities and Impact:
  • Actively involved in treasury organization to achieve objectives according to plans and timelines
  • Work to support treasury and treasury technology solutions across the organization
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate Treasury framework into business functions.
  • Assist with global repatriation project
  • Assist with legal entity restructuring projects
  • Assist with bank administration documentation requests.
  • Bank portal administration and proactively communicate updates to end users
  • Work as an individual contributor as well as a close team member in a fast- paced environment
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $20 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Fully matriculated students with a Sophomore or Junior standing
  • All Majors welcome: Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Psychology, Public Administration, Public Policy, Sociology, and Supply Chain majors preferred.
  • Curious and excited to learn.
  • Effective communicator and listener.
  • Problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
  • The ability and the desire to learn to conduct data analysis and research.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge or interest in treasury and finance is recommended.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Communicates in a clear, concise manner and effectively expresses thoughts with others
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
