The Treasury Manager will manage the organization's treasury activities, focusing on interest rate risk analysis and modeling, budget and forecast projection, and financial reporting and analysis. Additionally, this role will perform Investment and Wholesale Loan Sales & Purchase, and oversee other treasury functions such as liquidity and cash management along with any derivative transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the team as they perform the ALM modeling including data compilation and the monthly upload of the Profitstar ALM model. This includes the reconciliation and research on variance analysis, balance sheet and NII forecast projection, along with the routine financial reporting and analysis and the production of the Quarterly ALM packet. Give Monthly and Quarterly presentations to ALCO.
  • Responsible for balance sheet strategy modeling and net interest margin projection utilizing Profitstar model. This includes the midyear forecast and annual budget projection. Perform Interest Rate simulations as needed.
  • Responsible for liquidity and cash management including monitoring daily cash position, projecting liquidity needs and performing stress simulations, managing collateral accounts with FHLB, FRB as well as other treasury operations such as derivative transactions.
  • Prepares and reviews financial reports; ensures complete and accurate financial, statistical, and accounting records in the responsible areas. Maintains and updates policies of investment, derivative, participations sold.
  • Assists in overseeing the departmental operations and performance; hires, trains, directs, and evaluates employee performance within the department. Collaborate with auditors/examiners on audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage Capital Market transactions including purchase and sale of investment and loans and derivatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • Financial services industry experience a plus.
  • Experience in ALM is required.
  • B.A./B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA, CFA or CAP preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, characteristics of financial assets and liabilities, and basic investment, ALM and statistical analysis. Must be team oriented, quick learner with great analytical and communications skills. Must be proficient in Excel, Access, and data manipulation.

The Treasury Manager position is a Grade 13.

  • Salary Range: $112,959.46 to $169,439.19
  • Target Range: $112,959.46 to $141,199.32

The target range for entry in a new position is between the minimum and midpoint of the range, depending on experience and qualifications.
