Job Details:
We are seeking Traveling Superintendent to join our Southeast based team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, contract management, scheduling, safety management, blueprint reading, subcontractor management, cost control, site management, building codes, materials management, and construction safety. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction activities and ensuring they align with project plans and specifications
  • Develop and implement project work schedules, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and standards, promoting a culture of safety among team members
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications, providing guidance to team members as necessary
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project plans
  • Implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Conduct site management duties, including coordinating logistics, managing materials, and overseeing site safety
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building codes and regulations
  • Manage materials, ensuring they are procured in a timely manner and stored correctly to prevent damage

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction management role
  • Proven experience in contract management, scheduling, safety management, blueprint reading, subcontractor management, cost control, construction planning, site management, building codes, materials management, and construction safety
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software
  • Ability to travel extensively and adapt to various working conditions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
