A DAY IN YOUR LIFE

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL/RETAIL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE

Leadership Skills: Provide strong on-site leadership, coordinating and supervising construction teams to ensure safety protocols and regulations are adhered to.
Logistics Management: Coordinate logistics, including material deliveries, container management, equipment usage, and workforce deployment.
Vendor and Subcontractor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel around the country to oversee and manage construction projects in various locations. Project durations 3-4 months.
Reporting and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for construction projects and provide daily reports, percentage of completion, progress photos, inventory quantity verification, field-labor hours etc., to support successful monitoring and tracking of each project. This will primarily be executed through the company provided Project Management Software.
Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments such as Design and Purchasing to ensure construction activities align with overall business objectives.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues that arise during construction projects, ensuring minimal impact on timelines and budgets.
Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

WHAT YOU MUST BRING TO THE TEAM

5 to 7 years of experience in construction field management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects on time and within
budget
Must have commercial/retail TI and new build experience
Extensive experience in on-site construction leadership roles.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building code.
Ability to adapt to different project environments and travel frequently.
Familiarity with construction management software and MS Office.
Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in construction practices.
