The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Electrical Skills, and Mechanical Skills, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.
2. Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults and breakdowns swiftly and efficiently.
3. Utilize your electrical skills to maintain, repair and improve control systems, wiring, and circuitry.
4. Use your mechanical skills to maintain and repair various physical structures, systems, and machinery within the facility.
5. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and implement solutions proactively.
6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance procedures and improve overall operational efficiency.
7. Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
8. Document maintenance and repair work for future reference, ensuring accurate records are kept.
9. Train other staff members on proper equipment use and basic maintenance procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Electrical Skills, and Mechanical Skills.
3. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment faults efficiently.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
8. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
9. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations within the manufacturing industry.
10. A relevant technical certification or diploma is highly advantageous.
