Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Shift: Days / 8:30a-4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, Mon-Wed

Length: 13 Weeks
Call: every 3rd weekend and Mon -Thursday 4pm- 9am of the following week

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience
• Current Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registry certification from the American
• Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
• Registry certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or registry
• BLS
• 3 years or greater experience preferred

Other details:

• Local Travelers are accepted
• High School Diploma or GED with registry certification OR is currently enrolled in or graduate of
• an accredited Ultrasound/Cardiovascular Technology program.

Schedule:
M-W: 830a-430p

Scrub color: Ceil blue
Years of experience: At least 2 years required; 3 years or greater preferred
Type of exams performed at facility: Carotid, Upper/Lower Arterial, Upper/Lower Venous, Renal Arterial, Aorta, Fistula, ABI, Pseudoaneurysm evaluation, Mesenteric, and Temporal Artery
Regarding vascular technologist candidates, because we are looking for a dedicated vascular tech, we do more advanced vascular studies that may not be available for general or echo techs that crossed train into vascular. An ideal candidate would have vascular experience in a dedicated vascular ultrasound lab or vascular surgeon office setting.

Certs/Education:
-High School Diploma or GED with registry certification OR is currently enrolled in or graduate of
an accredited Ultrasound/Cardiovascular Technology program.
-Current Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registry certification from the American
Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
registry certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or registry
eligible.
-If not currently registered, incumbent must obtain RVT or RVS registry within six months from
date of hire.
