Experience with Canon equipment preferred but not a deal breaker.CT & X-Ray Tech NightsStart 6/313 weeksShift Notes: Thursday Friday Saturday Shifts, Nights, 7p-7a36 hoursBLS and ARRT required1 openingOLD NOTES: Unit Info: Manager Dan and Mandy NEEDS EXPERIENCE WITH CANON OR TOSHIBA EQUIPMENT Updated 11/9/23CT certified preferred but strong experience will be considered Type Equipment Used: CANON OR TOSHIBA, Siemens CT and X-Ray Min Years Experience Required: 2 years Will they need to have experience in or float to other areas of Radiology such as Xray: yes assist in X-ray as needed Will they need to take call, if yes, what is the schedule requirement: - no call Color Scrubs: black pants pewter top Are scrubs provided: No Cases/scans per day: working in hospital Emergency Department so number of scans will vary. a shift Does MO have a state specific license required for CT Techs: No State licenseResponsibilities and Expectations: Operate CT equipment and accessories Perform tube warm-ups and daily QC Apply principles of radiation protection at all times, practice ALARA Prepare the patients for the procedures by providing clear instructions and answer questions to minimize anxiety Select appropriate scan protocols Position the patient to scan the area of interest according to their ability and comfort, immobilize if required Transporting patients to and from the department Follow sterilization procedures Handling of hazardous materials and preventing cross-contamination Clean equipment and taking inventory and restocking Perform aseptic techniques according to the established standard of care and infection control Administering contrast materials Take patient history prior to the exam Perform additional duties if asked by management Supervise and guide new staff into their job description by providing training with regular checks, direction, and qualified work samples Flexible with the schedule and reliable Should have required proper permits and licenses per state or country Will be scheduled various shifts and days of the week as necessary to efficiently and effectively provide services Has to be able to transport self through the department and hospital Must be able to stand, stoop, lift, push and pull without restrictions Heavy lifting is required at times, carrying objects weighing up to 35lbsJob Requirements: Completion of Radiologic Technology program Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Cancellation Policy:1 shift per 4 weeks Charting BSN Required:No License to Trauma Level: Care Shift Friday Saturday Shifts, Nights, 7p-7a Required , BLS Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Weeks:91
