SUMMARY : Automation Technicians need to be able to work with PLC's and ladder logic. Rockwell experience preferred. Able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams. Able to wire and assemble new panels. Assist mechanics with electrical troubleshooting as needed for process equipment. Lead and assist with electrical projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Education: Training beyond high school including either an Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field; industrial maintenance or automation experience preferred; some experience in electrical and mechanical required.
- Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; must have strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques. Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members.
