Radiation Therapist needed ASAP he Staff Radiation Therapist is responsible for the accurate, responsible delivery of radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. The staff therapist will plan, act, and organize his/her activities in such a way as to insure the provision of safe, efficient, cost effective and quality services. The individual in this position will act as a resource to others to assist in understanding the use of therapeutic radiation and its effects. This person will follow direction and conform to the philosophy of the hospital and department. Graduate of Certified Radiologic Technology School or Radiation Therapy program. Current applicable state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required. Registered Radiological Technologist A.R.R.T. (R) required. BLS/CPR Certification: Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS/CPR certification. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and direction to the age of the patient/client served in this department.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of Certified Radiologic Technology School or Radiation Therapy program.
Current applicable state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
Registered Radiological Technologist A.R.R.T. (R) required.
BLS/CPR Certification: Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS/CPR certification.
