- Profession: Multi - Specialty: Modality Tech - Unit: :SCD RADIOLOGY DIAGNOSTIC - Shift: 8h night shift Evenings: 5x8 Hr - Start Date: 06/03/2024 - Job Duration: 13 - of Positions: 1 - Description: - Provides quality patient care to all patients within two or more medical imaging departments. - Performs high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. - Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. - Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and upholds current standards of practice for the unit. - Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety. - Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner. - Facilitates smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment/resources. - Assists with patient transport as needed. - Correctly inputs charges and required data for procedures and supplies utilized. - Participates in clinical training for students and/or staff technologists. - Actively participates in department/hospital quality and process-improvement initiatives. - Maintains compliance with all State, Federal, accreditation, and hospital regulations and standards. - Responsible for contributing to ACR accreditation, as requested. - Schedule Notes: Evenings: - Skills: - 1 year imaging experience - X-RAY - COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY - IMAGING - ARRT - Additional Education: - High School Diploma/GED- Required - Associate's Degree- Strongly Preferred - Bachelor's Degree- Preferred - Registered Radiology Technologist from ARRT Required. - Any of the following certifications required: ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), ARRT (MR), R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT), R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) - BLS (AHA) - Required; - Languages: English Read Write Speak - Job Category: Clinical-Allied-Travel - Minimum Years of Experience: - Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 - Orientation Hours:
