Weekly Pay Range - $1866 To $2073 - Profession: RADIOLOGY TECH - Specialty: Unit MRMC RADIOLOGY DIAGNOSTIC - Shift: 12h night shift 3x12 Hr - Start Date: 06/03/2024 - Job Duration: 13 - of Positions: 1 - Description: - Provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department - Perform high-quality images and exams while considering patient needs - Follow standards of safe radiation practice - Demonstrate leadership and act as a role model for other technologists - Act as a clinical resource for students and staff - Ensure current practice standards for the unit - Perform diagnostic radiology procedures with safety in mind - Prepare patients for exams and provide necessary information - Assist patients during exams and maintain equipment and patient safety - Facilitate patient flow, scheduling, and equipment use optimization - Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients - Assist with patient transport and perform IV starts and contrast administration - Input charges and data accurately, complete necessary paperwork - Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness - Engage in ongoing education and share knowledge with staff - Participate in quality improvement initiatives - Maintain compliance with regulations and standards - Demonstrate effective time management and adaptability to change - Engage in professional activities and attitudes - Skills: - Knowledgeable in Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, and Trauma - Previous Radiologic Technologist experience preferred - One year post-certification experience required - Floating Requirements: - May be required to float to any location within sixty miles or Centura-identified float zone - Float assignments may include duties outside of original assignment - Education: - HS/GED required - ARRT-R Required: Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T.
