Job Description:

Phaxis, a leading travel healthcare staffing company, is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in the welcoming town of Borger, TX. This role involves working a 5x8's schedule (five 8-hour shifts per week) in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Physical Therapists in providing comprehensive therapy services to patients
- Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Help patients improve their mobility, strength, and physical function
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to established protocols and safety standards

Qualifications:

- Certification: Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PTA
- Independence: Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively
- Licensing: Must be licensed to practice in the state of Texas
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
