Length: 13 weeks
Requirements: - OK License
- At least 5-10 years of wound/ostomy experience
- Must have a thorough knowledge of wound types, treatments, standard wound care products, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy experience
- Charting: EPIC experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH preferred
- Wound Certification is preferred but not required
- Epic experience is preferred
- Electronic Documentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 successful travel assignments are required with no performance or attendance issues.
Other Details: - No first time travelers

- There is a potential to float between inpatient and outpatient wound care
Inpatient Wound Care Clinic RN
Start Date APRIL 22 Start ONLY
Shift: Fri/Sat/Sun 3x12's position
Ratios: Travelers will work as a team to flow from wound assessments to treatments; there are no ratios.
Years of Experience REQ: The candidate will need to have at least 5-10 years of wound/ostomy experience. Epic experience is preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge of wound types, treatments, standard wound care products, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy experience.
First-Timers Travelers: No first time travelers. Minimum of two successful travel assignments are required with no performance or attendance issues.
Weekend REQ: No
Certs REQ: BLS & ACLS required; NIH preferred. Wound Certification is preferred but not required.
Is on-call REQ? No
Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? There is a potential to float between inpatient and outpatient wound care
Open to accommodating block schedule? No

RTO Restrictions: No Holiday RTO; max 5 total days in 13 week assignment. No additional RTO after the time of submittal or while working on contract.
Guaranteed Hours: 40 GWW
Special Notes: They will be performing ostomy education for new ostomates as well as providing wound care.
Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Type 2 Diabetes with ulcer, Venous Stasis Ulcers, Pressure Injuries
Procedures include negative pressure wound therapy dressing changes, skin substitutes, debridements, total contact casting, and compression wraps.

Attendance Policy: Facility has a zero-fault attendance policy which means that any missed scheduled shift - regardless of the reason - counts as unexcused. (2) missed shifts will result in a warning, and (3) missed shifts will result in a cancellation. Please ensure all candidates are aware of this policy prior to submission.
Compliance call out: Travelers must commit to going into the lab within 48-72 hours of signing.
