We are currently seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. As a Travel LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to travel to different locations across the country while delivering exemplary patient care in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans based on individual needs
- Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics and self-care techniques
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
- Stay updated with nursing best practices and participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements - Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of recent LPN experience
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare software
- Familiarity with nursing principles, procedures, and protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Willingness to comply with all travel assignments and requirements
