We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Travel LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to explore new locations while providing high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on effective self-care techniques
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with healthcare standards
  • Stay updated with current nursing practices and participate in professional development activities

Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an LPN
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software
  • Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Willingness to comply with all travel assignments and requirements

Class/Area: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

Pay Rate: $ weekly

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 10 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Shift and Time: Afternoon 2:45pm-11:15pm

Requirements: Every other weekend required

License Required: LPN Compact License

Certificates Required: BLS
