Travel Histotech Responsibilities:
Cut, prepare, and stain slides for histology examination and review
Prepare stains and chemical solutions
Adhere to examination and specimen collection and tracking standards to ensure accuracy of specimen analysis
Analyze, record and report laboratory test results accurately and in specified format
Conduct preventive maintenance, periodic inspection, calibration, and performance testing of laboratory equipment and instruments
Comply with facility and laboratory safety and quality control protocols

Travel Histotech Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science field
HT or HTL certification through ASCP preferred
1-2 years of experience working as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
Valid Driver's License
Background and drug screen
