Travel COTA / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

Follow individualized treatment care plans
Provide treatment to patients for daily living, functional activities, therapeutic exercise, fine and gross motor skills, coordination, equipment adaptation
Measure performance and document patient progress towards meeting established goals
Instruct and guide patients for appropriate techniques and skills
Create care plans tailored to patients' specific needs and capabilities using a variety of treatment techniques
Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
Consult and practice with other health professionals
Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress

Travel COTA / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements:

Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
NBCOT Certification preferred
1-2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license
Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of Occupational Therapy
Knowledge of current treatment practices and drive to continually learn and grow
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
Valid Driver's License
Background and drug screen
