Job Title: Cardiovascular Technician
• Day Shift

Job Description:

We're looking for a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. This role involves assisting with cardiovascular procedures, providing patient care, and contributing to patient education.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care to diverse populations, adapting procedures based on age
•specific needs.

• Communicate effectively with team about patient conditions.

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures, adhering to sterile technique.

• Supervise the acquisition and analysis of physiologic, hemodynamic, angiographic data.

• Maintain active logons for patient care software systems.

• Enter charges for patient
•care services; accountable for revenue reconciliation.

• Uphold all medical center and safety policies, identifying safety concerns.

• Serve on committees, promoting quality, patient care, and professional growth.

• Provide Radiation protection according to standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a relevant Health Sciences program.

• Current credentialing or licensure in the state of Iowa, or qualified multistate licensure.

• Clinical experience in cardiology, cardiac cath lab, radiology areas, or procedural units preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours.

• Basic computer skills.

• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) via current card prior to employment or within 30 days of hire.

• Completes Mandatory Reporting requirement within 6 months of hire.

• Ability to meet on
•call requirements.

• Must pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia class within 6 months of hire.

• ACLS certification is preferred.

This is a full
•time position with a 13
•week contract, working 40 hours per week during day shifts. The role requires participation in an on
•call and holiday rotation.
