Trauma Plastic Surgery Position:

Tacoma opportunity providing plastic surgery trauma coverage at St. Joseph Medical Center. Work 14 days of 24 hour shift coverage every two pay periods (28 days). Clinical duties include: 24/7 coverage for the Emergency Department, Inpatient/Floor consults, ER andOR follow-up clinic. Duties include 26 weeks per year with no accrued time off.

Our ideal candidate:

Candidates should be collegial team players who can provide excellent patient care while communicating with the entire care team. An interest in Trauma reconstruction and complex wound repair is essential. This position will be a hospital based practice designed to support the emergency room and inpatient consultations.

Requirements include
  • Medical Degree
  • ACGME Accredited Plastic Surgery Residency
  • Board Certification - American Board of Plastic Surgery
  • Washington State Medical License and DEA in good standing
