Job Details
  • Length of assignment: Temp with potential to go permanent.
  • Location: Remote needs to live near (Davenport, IA Clinton, IA Denver, CO St. Louis, MO Crete, NE)
  • Pay: $29.04 per hour
  • Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Requirements
  • 2+ years of customer service in a Transportation or Manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • SAP and Microsoft Excel preferred.
Job description
  • Process customer orders, which includes screening for product availability utilizing SAP and SAP TM.
  • Maintain high degree of cross functional communication across all areas of NPPC Supply Chain / Logistics.
  • Procure & Secure carriers on delivered loads & facilitate pickup appointments for customer managed loads.
  • Monitor open orders & execute reschedule needs for delivery & customer pickups.
  • Manage trailer availability and facility drop counts to ensure timely loading & consistent equipment supply.
  • Process customer returns and donation orders.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse peer group and leadership to ensure loading plans are achievable.
  • Review product availability daily, investigate shortages, and seek improvements that support order fill.
  • Execute & help solicit carrier capacity commitments & measure performance.
  • Contact carrier to obtain status of load-tendered (order Tracking)
  • Monitoring shipments via provided systems for on-time pick-up, in-transit, and delivery completion.
  • Tendering loads to carriers while ensuring automated or manual routing guide assignments are executed.
  • Assists other TR's with their assignments to ensure business needs are met each day.
  • Notify appropriate groups of any product supply issues, and work with ORM and Operations Planning group to resolve product-related issues to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in customer promotion or supplementary ordering & ensure carrier capacity needs are met.
  • Assist with Appointment Scheduling or carrier scheduling as needed. Update the TMS/SAP/WMS as needed.
  • Consolidate customer orders into full truckloads when necessary (order grouping).
  • Review & process carrier accessorial charges.
  • Assist local transport team with internal training needs / knowledge transfer / team building needs.

Pay Details: $29.04 per hour
