General Summary: Assist the Transportation department in overseeing all aspects of the transportation for all Ol/WFD. Objectives:

  • Carries out DOT, company policies and procedures to ensure that all drivers and new hires are and remain in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Provide superior internal and external customer service.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Audit drivers applications and documentation for all locations.
  • MVRs checkup including annual review for all drivers according to Oles policies and insurance criteria.
  • Generate, issue and maintain P.O. number system for truck rentals, truck repairs, vehicle repairs and warehouse equipment for Ole/WFD
  • Audit P.O. system for Ole/WFD weekly.
  • Pre-employment screening & manage drug testing, including random for CDL drivers.
  • Generate & maintained weekly compliant reports.
  • Schedule and Track Ole CMV and Non-CMV Driver Training.
  • Monitor and maintain all DQ files up to date such as: DOT cards, expired drivers licenses.
  • Generate and maintain weekly compliance, mileage and vehicle usage reports for Ol

Administration Responsibilities such as but not limited to:

  • Help with vehicle registrations.
  • Update quarterly insurance information for new and terminated drivers.
  • Office up-keep and services
  • Overseeing annual accountability of vehicles & drivers contracts. (Mileage, services and insurances)
  • Help ensure driver are adhering to company rules and procedures with DOT rules and regulation.
  • Interact with all locations daily, sometimes by phone or via email.
  • Help maintain and update all Driver Qualification Files (includes insurance certificates, physicals, valid drivers license, vehicle registration, etc.)
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of Compliance software (JJ KELLER, SAMSARA ELD)

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Successful candidate will have a high school diploma and at least one-year recent experience in the related field. Must be able to understand all policies, procedures, instructions, rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in transportation and DOT requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as computer proficiency
  • Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
  • Must have a working knowledge of MS office products such as Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Ability to work independently and with others (team)
