Responsibilities Pay Transparency Statement: The compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting. Position Summary:Under minimal supervision prepares truck for daily transfers of product and equipment from one company location to another company location. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Conducts pre and post vehicle inspections Maintains driver logs through our automated system Unloads and checks in product Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner Ensures accuracy of load Completes all required paperwork Is compliant with all State and Federal regulations as it relates to the job Must maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements Performsall other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Must have at least 1 year Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Must be able to pass a post-offer background, DOT Physical and drug test Preferred Skills and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Customer service experience Experience with a handheld ordering device and working in a multi-temperature environment Stocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experience Foodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience Physical Demands and Work Environment: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
