If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you. We currently have an opportunity for a Training Specialist to join our team at our facility in Appleton, WI.

Your Role:

As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for participating in all aspects of Plant Training System. The successful individual will build an annual training program and prepare teaching plans in partnership with internal and external subject matter experts. We embrace and accept individual experiences and backgrounds to achieve a diverse and inclusive workplace.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Audit effectiveness of trainers; provide feedback/coaching.
  • Ensure training documents are current (training packets, SWPs, LOTO processes, etc.).
  • Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
  • Translate requirements into trainings that will develop employees for the next step in their job skills development or career path.

Ultimately, you will lead Activity Day and Orientation Program, including providing orientation sessions and develop or identify resources to provide or upgrade training to meet evolving needs. We need you to have:

  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of related leadership or training experience.
  • Strong understanding of training systems.
  • Proven ability to master the full training cycle.

  • Some college or business school.
  • Prior administrative or clerical experience.
