Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to drive our Finance team objectives forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the driving data analytics forward, is highly motivated, can independently manage workloads, takes problems and drives solutions, and has a passion for learning about new analytical tools.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in data Analytics or Finance or equivalent experience
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Power Platform tools, Alteryx, Financial Modeling
• Strong communication, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Resourceful, continuous process improvement mindset
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with agile project management
• Customer satisfaction oriented
• Advanced Excel
• Power Platforms experience
• SQL experience
Desired skills include:
• Python
• Alteryx
Senior Financial Data Analyst Responsibilities:
• Partner with internal project sponsors and other external technical areas within to assist in the development of analytics and automation thru use of enterprise tools
• Build and maintain data sets
• Build and maintain reporting analytics
• Support the development of master data management best practices
• Create process documentation
• Complete ad-hoc finance projects
• Overseeing month end close/coordinating with accounting
• Develop forecast and compare results vs plan.
• Update financial reports and presentations.
• Complete weekly headcount reporting
• Build innovative analytical tools to support TECH Finance team of 40
