Summary: This individual will safely and efficiently assemble manufactured products according to specifications, including but not limited to wet kits, extension building, and assisting with trailer finishing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions
- Cleaning & washing trailers outside, in all seasons experiencing cold & hot weather conditions
- Reads blueprints, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications
- Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks
- Maintains equipment and performs basic repairs when needed
- Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts parts specialist if supplies are needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication skills to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Works well as a productive member of a team.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience preferred
Physical Activities/Requirements:
- Must be able to perform heavy work moving objects up to 100 pounds or more
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine
Safety and Driving Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain all safety standards and avoid cutting corners that may compromise the safety of self and or working environment, along with follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
