Traffic Signal Repairman

Successful completion of a US department of Labor registered lineman apprenticeship training program and journeyman status; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience International Municipal Sign Association (IMSA) - Level Two Certificate is required OR International Public Safety Institute (IPSI) - Level Two Certificate is required Licensure, Certification, or Other Qualifications A valid State of Illinois driver's license is required Must have a permanent use of an automobile that is properly insured, including a clause specifically insuring the City of Chicago from accident liability SELECTION REQUIREMENTS This position requires candidates to pass a job knowledge exam. Test results will be sent out by the Department of Human Resources after test results have been compiled and analyzed.
