Looking for Temporary work for the 2024 construction season? Compass Consultants is hiring entry-level temporary Traffic Sign Installers in Eastern South Dakota. What's in it for you? We offer a base wage starting at $21.00/hr with portions of our work being paid at prevailing wages. This position will require travel throughout South Dakota/Minnesota. While traveling, we pay perdiem at $24.00/day plus hotel costs. We have expanded our operations to include Traffic Control. This temporary position will be responsible to provide high-quality roadway signage installation, by working either independently or as part of a sign installation crew. We require you have the following: The ability to travel Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license free from an inordinate amount of violations We prefer the following skills and experience: Experience with highway construction, use of hand and power tools, power equipment digging equipment, and skid steer operation is preferred Previous experience in sign installation or similar trade preferred Understanding of roadway signage and its intended purpose to be able to determine if the work order and installation makes sense Class A commercial driver's license a plus Apply today at .
